MSc programme

Msc programme covers a wide spectrum courses in Numerical Analysis. Specifically, students will take 28-32 credits of courses in total including compulsory and optional course followed by 6 credits dissertation which completes the programme. The courses taken rests on the availability of courses and could be updated each semester.

Dissertation

The MSc dissertation provides an opportunity for postgraduate students to undertake a research project in the school of Mathematics and Computer science and to work under supervision of Prof. J. Rashidinia, Dr. T. Nikazad, Dr. M. Garshasbi and Dr. M. Arabshahi on topics including Numerical Analysis Numerical solution of differential and Integral equations , Splines Sinc and Radial Basis, Functions Approximation, Image reconstruction techniques Iterative methods for linear systems (LARG, Sparse, Ill-posed) Stopping rules, Numerical solution of PDE’s, Inverse Heat Transfer problems, Numerical solution of IE’s, Numerical analysis , Numerical solution of PDE’s and Mathematical modeling Numerical Analysis.
