Workshop Topics and Activities:

• ● Earthquake cycle, seismic sources, and relationships between fault zones

• ● Identification of active faults using geological methods

•   Practical activity: Determining the mechanism of active faults using satellite imagery

• ● Determining fault slip rates and the uplift of active folds

•  Using geodetic data (GPS and radar interferometry)

• ● Determining characteristics of seismic sources using seismology

•   Practical activity: Locating earthquakes and focal mechanisms
